Hi Jessica! I'm working on my Copp's strategy for tomorrow...still learning here. :-)

Question: For the BOGOs, does the free item factor towards the $25 minimum? For instance, say I purchase two Chex Mix at $3 each...they are BOGO, so does that count as $3 or $6 towards my minimum?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure they will both count, but I would have a backup item just in case...you don't want to have to pull your whole order! I usually try to have a backup item that I don't feel bad about putting back if I don't end up "needing" it for any of my transactions. "Free" coupon items are good for this--like the free Pace salsa coupons you can win on the sweeps.

Hi Jessica!

Since I know you use Festival coupons, how do they figure that toward the threshold? Does the full price of the item go toward the $25, or is it the final price match price?

The full price goes towards the $25. Just hand your coupons to be doubled first and put the others on the bottom of the pile.

Jessica: You were right - both items on the BOGOs counted toward the $25 minimum this morning. Woo hoo! Thanks again!

My first time taking full advantage of the double coupons! I did 2 transactions. It took me 2 hours to figure out both transactions but I ended up spending $26.26 for a total of $68.03 in merchandise.
I had an I-tunes card as filler for the first transaction, but didn't even need it. Checking over the receipt, I know that my Copps is using the price before deals (eg. adding in the price of the free item, price before sales) to get to the $25.00.
2nd transaction I did use the Itunes card ($15.00) as filler and ended up spending $2.27 for the following: Two full size containers of Quaker Oats, 4 packages of Quaker granola bars (True delights, Delight squares and Granola High Fiber), 2 packs of Ronzoni pasta and 1 avocado and 1 mango! That's a lot of free groceries! Thanks so much!
