I know some of you have been eagerly awaiting our ultrasound news. Thanks to all of you who voted in the poll on my sidebar and/or left comments on the original post. It was fun to see all of your guesses! I'm sorry to say that 38 of you were wrong. . . and 34 of you were right (including Ted)! I'll be able to reuse our baby clothes once again. . . IT'S A GIRL! We are all very thankful that she looks healthy and are extremely excited to be adding another girl to our family! There is one thing they'd like to recheck, so we will have another ultrasound at 28 weeks. And just in case you missed it in my last post, my friend is also having her 5th girl. Apparently we're BOTH good at one thing--having girls!

I've been checking all day! I know, I'm a dork! I'm so happy for you guys...I guess when you do something, you do it right! You do such a great job with the girls you have, this one will fit in perfectly. Congratulations...hope you can come up with a name that keeps up with the theme :-)

Congrats on yet another future beautiful beauty! I am anxious to see which sibling she will resemble.
Take care and good luck with the rest of your pregnancy. At least the girls don't have to give up their bedroom for a brother. I know they would probably want to be together for awhile anyway, like they are now.

Aw, I was wrong, but I'm so glad, since it means you don't have to go out and buy all new clothes (though you no doubt know where to get coupons for them). I remember reading about a family that went through seven girls in a row before they got a boy.
And technically it's Ted who's good at making girls, since it's the male's side that determines the gender of a baby. But we won't tell him that. Girl power!

Congratulations! I will be praying for your next ultrasound to be normal. I know from experience that abnormal ultrasounds are nerve-racking so try not to stress too much!
