This week I only went to one store for double coupon day. I spent $33.20 over 5 transactions and saved $112.70 or 77%. I got the inside scoop that next week will be another super-doubles event, where they will double 10 coupons per $25 order, so start pulling together your coupons! The employee I talked to said so far the super-doubles events have been 4 weeks apart, so we'll see if this trend continues! I'm a little bummed it's at the beginning of the month instead of the end of the month, because I have a lot of coupons that expire at the end of the month. However, the Coupons.com coupons reset at the beginning of the month, so hopefully we'll get some new ones. These items were free or better than free: Crest x2 (it was on clearance and I doubled coupons), Excedrin (with the free coupon here), Albacore tuna pouches x2, Land O' Lakes butter x2, General Mills cereal x6, milk x2 (because I had enough overage to get another gallon), eggs x1, and Arnold Sandwich Thins x4 (I'm hosting another House Party!).
These items were $1 or less: YoPlus x5 (my coupons were expiring and we were out of yogurt so I spent $0.59 per 4-pack), flavored applesauce x8 (we mix these with plain unsweetened applesauce just like we mix our cereals), Minute Rice, Arnold bread, bananas, potatoes, Pop Secret x3 (raincheck), powdered sugar x2, Crackerfuls x2, Chinet plates x2, string cheese x10 (raincheck), and eggs x1.
Other items: Johnsonville brats, milk x2, and turkey pepperoni.
My other shopping trips for February are listed here, here, and here. This month my overall total was: $51.58 + $39.15 + $41.13 + 33.20 = $165.06. This is an average of $41.27 a week, a low month for me! My average savings was 74% per week.
Stay tuned, because tomorrow I will be posting a monthly grocery tally for the past six months!

If you don't mind my asking, which store(s) do you shop at? My stores (Appleton) don't let me use any internet printables that offer a "free" item, whether it's completely free or BOGO.
You are the second person to ask that, so I'd better clarify. This coupon was not printed off the internet, it was mailed to me. Same thing with the coupons from House Party for the Sandwich Thins. I think their policy is to not accept internet-printed free coupons because they don't know if it's legit, but since these were mailed to me, I was able to use them. So next time I would politely point out that this coupon wasn't printed off the internet--it was mailed to you. Hope that helps! :-)
I should add that you can point out that it is printed on the company's special "no-fraud" paper (or whatever it's called!), or as Kristin suggested, just leave the coupon attached to the letter they send you instead of cutting it out.
Guess What??? I spent 42.24 and saved 77.69!!!!! How cool!!!! used the milk coupons etc, clipped wise coupons only needed to add to one order. the rest of the orders were like 27.00 etc. Had 4 transactions. Krista came with me and helped me. It would have been quite confusing with the cereals for me to figure out on my own. Feels good. Thanks again for the tips and coupon help!

Carley-
I just have to say, that is AWESOME for your 1st week!!! You must be a natural! :-)
My hubby went to Pick N Save and bought 6 boxes of cereal, 2 lbs. of strawberries, and 2 pkgs of Johnsonville sausages and spent $7.28 and yes, also received the free gallon of milk and egg coupon. What a deal! He can't believe it and I might have him hooked into doing this every week!

Hooray! And super doubles again - wahoo! I love being a week behind you all. :)
Excellent job, Jessica. You're making me feel like a slouch now - I budget $50 a week for 4 of us (one nursing infant). I know I don't spend it all the time, but I like the wiggle room. ;) I spent $50 this week, and saved $153, plus I have $30 in rebates coming back to me.
I love couponing. Now if I could just find some Miller coupons, we'd be happy. Or New Glarus coupons. ;)
I have been looking at the things you have been buying for the last few weeks. It would really help if you could break down each transaction so I could see what you do. :) I'm one week behind your sales. This week I did two transactions and spent 12.67 and saved over 70.00. It is my best yet. Seeing your food pictures has really helped and motivate me. Thanks.
