AWANA

The girls LOVE going to AWANA! It's a high energy program where the Word of God is central. G is in Cubbies (for preschoolers) and H is in Sparks (Kindergarten through 2nd grade). They earn patches or jewels for their vests by memorizing Bible verses. They also play games, have worship time, learn Bible stories, and just have FUN! Every week they come back excited. It's so important to us that they learn God's Word, and we love it that they're having fun and enjoying it! I highly recommend the program.

Some parents have asked me about the fact that it runs past their bedtime. Yes, they do get home late, but it is only once a week, and for the benefits they are gaining, we think it is well worth it.
