There are several free after rebate offers available. This can be a nice way to try a product for the price of a stamp. And if you can find a coupon for the product, then you can save even that money!

Submit for Your Huggies Rebate!

Don't forget to submit your 2009 receipts for Huggies jumbo diapers to Caregivers Marketplace for your rebate of $0.75 per pack! I saved my receipts all year and just submitted them for a rebate of $27! Woo hoo! I explain more about this program here and here. They are giving rebates for both the old and new packs of Huggies diapers from 2009. If you'd like a copy of the email they sent to me stating that fact, email me and I will forward it to you. I printed it off and included it with my rebate form, just in case. Go here to download the 2009 form. You need to have 5 products in order to submit for a rebate. Pull-Ups, GoodNites, Cottonelle flushable wipes, Balmex, and more are also included in the 2009 rebate. 2009 rebates must be postmarked by 1/31/10.

I just looked at the 2010 form, and Huggies products are no longer on the list!! They still have Balmex and Cottonelle Wipes listed, but alas, the diaper program has ended. It was good while it lasted. . . (sigh)!

Blue Bunny Rebate

Remember when Blue Bunny offered free after rebate ice cream over Memorial Weekend? They are offering it again to celebrate Labor Day weekend! Buy Blue Bunny Aspen or Sedona frozen yogurt treats between Saturday, 9/5/09 and Monday, 9/7/09 and submit this form along with your UPC and receipt by 9/19/09 for a full rebate. I got to try the Aspen bars when Walmart had free ice cream day, and they were SO yummy! I'm all over getting some for free after rebate!

According to Mercedes, there was a coupon for $2 off in the 8/2 SS insert. I just checked mine, though, and I don't seem to have it. Maybe it was a regional coupon. Have you tried using UPromise ecoupons? There is one for save $1 for college when you buy Aspen or Sedona treats. Load it on your grocery card before you go to put an extra $1 in your account. If you can use one of these coupons, it would make this deal even better!

Weekly Groceries-$65

This week I did three transactions and spent $65.62 on 49 items. I ended up getting 4 Tombstone pizzas for $5 after a doubled coupon I got in the mail and the $3 OYNO catalina. And I thought last week was a good deal! But now I have 12 receipts and UPCs to submit for the $10 utility rebate. I will probably hold out a little longer to see if I can get to the $15 mark, since I have until January to do so. My husband loves pizza, and I love that I've been able to stock up for cheap! :-)

The Jello, Pillsbury crescents and biscuits, cereal, yogurt and milk were all almost free after doubled coupons, discounts, and catalinas. The chicken was $1.88/lb. so I bought 6 packages. I also got Flintstones vitamins for $3!

A quick reminder to check your receipts. I had coupons for the cereal, and one was a Vocalpoint coupon for a free box of Rice Krispies. After checking my receipt, I saw that she forgot to take it off (maybe it got stuck to another one or something?). I went back and found the receipt in the cashier's folder and the manager gave me a refund. Usually my receipts are fine, but every once in awhile there is a problem, so it's best to check before you leave the store (or while sitting in your car before you leave), so you don't have to come back later.

Tombstone Pizza Deal

I went to shop the loss leaders at another grocery store this week and remembered why I don't usually do that. It never ceases to amaze me how easily the money seems to slip through my fingers at this store! I spent about $48.

I know you are wondering about all the Mountain Dew. Keeping the Mountain Dew stocked at our house is one way I can show love to Ted in a tangible way. :-) And I've been known to sneak one every once in awhile, too.

Well, the Mtn Dew was $2 per 12 pack, so that's why I stocked up this week. I also went to get 4 Tombstone pizzas, but after paying, I got a $3 ONYO catalina, making them $2 each, so I had to go back and get 4 more!

But the Tombstone deal gets even better. . .I can submit to Tombstone to receive a credit to help pay my bills! If your family likes Tombstone pizzas and you can find a good sale, print out this form and save your receipts and UPCs. Weekly Groceries-$61 for a family of 6

It was a big week for deals, which was nice because the last couple of weeks have been pretty slow for me, coupon-wise. You can click to enlarge the picture if you want to.

Hubby asked if I would stock up on Honey Nut Cheerios because he likes to snack on them and I was happy to oblige! The cereal deal ended up like this:
8 boxes of cereal=$25.72-$10 instant reward, minus 6 coupons (5 doubled)=$7.47, PLUS 2 gallons of milk at $1.99 each=$11.45, minus $6.50 catalina milk coupons=
$4.95 for 8 boxes of cereal AND 2 gallons of milk!

I got these items for FREE after coupons: 5 packs of yogurt, Ronzoni Pasta x4, Easy Mac x4, Tyson Cornish Hens x2, baby food. And I will submit for a full rebate for the Tyson Fajita Kit.

I did four transactions so I could double 20 coupons. My before coupon total was over $100 (and that's AFTER the $10 discount and other sale prices. Before sales it was about $150).
TOTAL: $51.52 for 73 items

They ran out of Fiber One yogurt which I had more coupons for, so I got a raincheck and will get more for FREE after doubled coupons later. Our family can go through A LOT of yogurt, so I love it when I can get it for free! :-)

I also made a quick run into Aldi and picked up milk, carrots, pears, bananas, tortillas, and hamburger buns for a total there of $9.95.

Weekly total: $61.47 for a family of 6!

Earn Dannon Coupons

Dannon has a promotion called "Dannonomics" running through October. The more Dannon products you buy, the more $1 coupons you earn!

• Buy $15 worth of any 1 or more Dannon brands and get 3 $1 coupons
• Buy $20 worth of any 2 or more Dannon brands and get 6 $1 coupons
• Buy $40 worth of any 3 or more Dannon brands and get 15 $1 coupons

Dannon brands include any sizes or flavors of Activia, Danimals, Danonino, Dannon brand yogurt, DanActive, and Light & Fit. Purchases made at the warehouse clubs Sam's, BJ's, and Costco are not eligible. Purchases can be made on separate receipts and at different stores.

Did you know you can get money back for buying Huggies diapers? It's true!

It's been awhile since I've mentioned The Caregivers Marketplace, and since I might have some new readers I thought I'd better mention it again. I scrounged around for diaper receipts last year after I heard about this program. I sent them in and got a check for $26 back! Save your Huggies receipts and submit for $0.75 back per jumbo pack. They give rebates for other items, too, like Nature Made vitamins, Cottonelle flushable wipes, Pull-Ups, Glucerna, and more! So far I have receipts for 20 packs bought this year. You can send in more than once a year, but you need to have a minimum of $5 rebate in order to send in for a check. Yay for money back on diapers! :-)

Do you have a picky eater in your house? We do! Several, actually. So when I saw an offer for a free after rebate 6-pack of PediaSure, I was excited! Just print out this form, buy a 6-pack of Pediasure, and then mail in for the rebate by 7/31/09.
