Normally when Sam's has a "free" day, non-members have to pay a 10% upcharge if they buy anything, so I never bother to go. But since there is no upcharge today, we are going to check it out.
I know there are some things I can always get cheaper (or free!) at Roundy's (like cereal and pasta, for example), and I'm pretty sure Amazon's prices are better on diapers with Amazon Mom, but I'd like to check out Sam's prices on other things.
If you decide to join Sam's Club today, you can choose a free gift, either a cookbook or a $10 SamsClub.com ecard that can also be used at Walmart.com. A regular membership is $40 a year.
