Infantino Savvy Bag Review

The Infantino Savvy Bag is a diaper clutch that has a removable changing pad. It looks and acts like a stylish purse, but when baby needs a diaper change, the pad can fold out and either stay attached like this:or it can be detached from the purse with 3 snaps. The bag and pad are well-made and easily wipe-able, and I like the red and white design. The pad folds up nicely and can easily be folded with one hand, which is something I am always looking for because when you are holding a baby, you only have one hand to put everything away! There is a small velcro strap to hold the pad together in thirds and once it is folded up the purse closes nicely with magnets that are hidden inside.
A far cry from bulky diaper bags, I like that the Savvy Bag is still large enough to hold several essentials. Currently mine has a diaper and a small pack of wipes, hand sanitizer, lotion, a small container of cheerios (gotta have snacks for baby J!), my wallet, and more! There is even a small zippered pouch inside, which is a must-have!

Overall I really like the Savvy Bag and I have been using it quite a bit (even though I am NOT a purse person!) There are two things I would change, however. One is that I wish there was a closure of some sort on the purse section. I'm just paranoid about things falling out, and the one time Ted used it, he made the same comment ("I was afraid your stuff was going to end up all over the place!"). A zipper would be awesome, but a snap or velcro would work, too. The second thing is that I wish the completely folded up pad could be secured to itself so that when I lift the flap to get something out of the purse (like to pay for groceries), the pad wouldn't fall over and partially unfold. Another magnet or a small velcro section would easily remedy this.

I've really enjoyed being an Infantino Test Drive Mom! I can tell that Infantino's products are made with moms and kids in mind. Thanks SO much, Infantino and Mom Central!
